Arthur C. Clarke ( 1917-)

Arthur C Clarke is well known for 2001 A Space Odyssey, a novel and his original thought on satellites. He predicted many things about space exploration.

In 1987 I found Arthur C Clarke sent a letter to the UK newspaper the Times. Armed with the address I wrote to him and had a brief correspondence. It is rare because he doesn't normally write, he sends copies of standard answers. I was lucky.  In the scan is the letter with Clarke's original handwriting he dated it in his hand as 29 Sept 1987.
